I always knew I wanted to work as a professional Music Teacher since I have a fierce love of working with people and sharing my true passion with them. I’ve had plenty of experience working with students of all levels and skills - from beginners to real experts. No matter who I’m teaching, I thrive on seeing my students grow and develop as they discover what they can achieve.

Self Employed Music Teacher – South Florida 2015 - Present

Instruments taught: Piano and drums.

In the comforts of the student's home, help them to develop into the best musician he/she can be. Give the student the “musical tools” needed to create and grow.

 

Rising Starz Music Academy – Davie, FL 2010- 2015

Provided instrumental and music training for students -Tailored lesson plans and integrated a wide range of activities and materials to accommodate all styles of learners - Encouraged students to explore writing and production aspects of music – Assembled groups of student musicians to create “Rock Class” and “Drum City.” Drum city was a percussion ensemble ages 8-11.

 

 

Jubilate Summer Music Camp – Miami, FL 2001-2006

Taught divisions of students ranging from 11-18 that were under privileged with desire to become better musicians – Used several unconventional methods to teach rhythm and reading – Composed final music performance of camp – Integrated cooperative learning activities and multicultural lesson to raise class participation levels, demonstrate cultural diversity in music enhance academic and social skills
